I really started my last two posts with “I’m sorry” lmao I can’t end on that so UH. See you next week I hope someone sets Simon on fire or something idk

I’m sorry but there’s so much wrong. The choir clearly realizing using that song would guarantee them a gb (I fully believe they truly loved her work, but there is no way using it in their AUDITION didn’t have ulterior motives). The show milking a woman’s death for a tearjerker golden buzzer moment. And only telling the audience they have a gb coincidentally after this act performs ??? Just seems really weird. Literally what a weird and kind of icky way to end an otherwise great premiere.

I’m sorry I don’t wanna accuse them of anything but I feel like they wouldn’t have chosen this song if it wasn’t by a deceased golden buzzer contestant beloved by Simon

I brought up that this choir could be a tag favorite bc we loved Ndlovu Youth Choir and so maybe the word Youth is the key but I FULLY forgot what DYC stood for and I’m not joking. They aren’t Detroit Youth Choir in my brain  😭

for anyone holding out hope the incoming gb isn’t a choir, their name is Mzansi Youth Choir so !

Need the Judge Cuts back desperately so we get 1 extra Orlando performance. I do think he’ll make lives but I still want an EXTRA performance
